License for the Use of New Block Cipher Technology

ESBC (EXTRA SYSTEMS BLOCK CIPHER) LICENSE AGREEMENT

This license agreement governs the use of the source code of the ESBC cipher, published at https://esbc.extrasystems.biz/.

1. Viewing and Studying

Anyone may freely view, study, and analyze the ESBC source code for educational and research purposes.

2. Non-Commercial Use

Non-commercial use of the code for personal, educational, and academic purposes is permitted, provided all copyright notices and references to the original source are preserved.

3. Commercial Use

Any commercial use, including, but not limited to:

- embedding in commercial products
- use in paid services
- creation of derivative works for sale
- provision of encryption services based on ESBC

requires PRIOR WRITTEN PERMISSION from Extra Systems.

4. Public and Government Use

Any use of ESBC for public and government purposes, including, but not limited to:

- use by state, municipal, or military agencies

requires PRIOR WRITTEN PERMISSION from Extra Systems.

5. Derivative Works

Creating modified versions of the code is permitted only for personal use. Any distribution of modified versions without the written permission of Extra Systems is prohibited.

6. No Warranties

The code is provided "AS IS" without any warranties.
